All students learn at different levels. I like to incorporate all the learning styles of students. Some learn by hands-on, others by listening, and some by writing. These are all used by me. Each student has their own learning style and a teacher has to help each find what works for each student and then incorporate this to meet the needs for that particular student. Education cannot be mass-produced. One style does not fit all. Reading is extremely important to the success of a student. Education is the most valuable tool and weapon to get out of poverty; and it is something no one can ever take away from you. I have 17 years in the classroom and 5 years of education to attain this. I graduated with a Bachelor's in English from Troy University Dothan in December 2009. Since I opted for a Bachelor's in English rather than a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I took more writing and literature classes. In all of my English Literature classes, I had numerous writing assignments that helped me learn how to write. I also took writing and grammar classes which helped improve my writing skills tremendously. I tutored when I was in Jr. High School. The student I tutored was learning how to read.
