My comments on tutoring American History : I have taught American History (8th grade) for 2 years.

25 years of coaching experience, 2 years of classroom teaching (social studies, science, language arts and study skills, 1 year tutoring for standardized testing (SAT/ACT English and reading) I have taught students with both handicaps, including physically, emotionally and intellectually challenged. I love working with children. I have taught Sunday School classes at various age levels. I believe that each child is different and learns in his/her own way on his/her own time-table; therefore, I work with each child differently depending on their needs. I try to teach in a way that the child can understand and grasp the concepts of grammar, writing, and reading.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in English from Troy University Dothan in December 2009. Since I opted for a Bachelor's in English rather than a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I took more writing and literature classes. I took four years of college. Now I have a lot of extra class I took that I did not need but I am more diverse in helping your child(ren).
