Tutor - Writing, Reading, GED Prep

I worked for two years at the Cleveland State University Writing Center where I tutored writing and reading comprehension to undergraduate and graduate students of many academic backgrounds. I tutored students one-on-one and also taught writing workshops to groups of 3-6 students. In February of 2013, I began tutoring GED prep at Seeds of Literacy, an adult education organization in Cleveland. I am comfortable tutoring most topics covered on the test. If there is a topic I am unsure about, I will let you know up front. The methods of teaching I was instructed when I obtained my Bachelor in Education at the University of Akron Ohio, from 1989-1991, was the following Integrated, Whole language approach and Montessori. The method we were instructed to use in the Akron city school system was Integrated which uses basic and whole language approach language Arts. A Little Bit About Me...

I fully love my architecture career, but I have never lost my love for math and science! Every day I use basic math, geometry, and even physics (to calculate structural components).
