My teaching style is patient, relaxed, and supportive. I tend to tailor my methods to the needs and personality of the student.
I worked for two years at the Cleveland State University Writing Center where I tutored writing and reading comprehension to undergraduate and graduate students of many academic backgrounds. I tutored students one-on-one and also taught writing workshops to groups of 3-6 students. In February of 2013, I began tutoring GED prep at Seeds of Literacy, an adult education organization in Cleveland. I am comfortable tutoring most topics covered on the test. If there is a topic I am unsure about, I will let you know up front. Providing Training In Reading & Reading Comprehension

Since 2008 I have been tutoring students in their home environments. I have tutored at least 20 children successfully during the following years. I also have taught in the classroom for 1 1/2 years and did 3 years of substituting in 5 school districts in the Cleveland, OH area. I tutor mostly special needs kids: ADHD, Aspergers, Higher level Autism, Manic Depression, or some form of physical disability, etc.
