Tutor - Writing, Reading, GED Prep

I worked for two years at the Cleveland State University Writing Center where I tutored writing and reading comprehension to undergraduate and graduate students of many academic backgrounds. I tutored students one-on-one and also taught writing workshops to groups of 3-6 students. In February of 2013, I began tutoring GED prep at Seeds of Literacy, an adult education organization in Cleveland. I am comfortable tutoring most topics covered on the test. If there is a topic I am unsure about, I will let you know up front. Chess coach/tutor available (most subjects) - Cleveland West

I learned how to play chess about twenty years ago, it's been rather on and off since then. I've steadily improved and tried so many different ways to improve before finding the right method for myself that I'm confident in my many approaches to teaching. Providing Training In Reading & Reading Comprehension

Since 2008 I have been tutoring students in their home environments. I have tutored at least 20 children successfully during the following years. I also have taught in the classroom for 1 1/2 years and did 3 years of substituting in 5 school districts in the Cleveland, OH area. I tutor mostly special needs kids: ADHD, Aspergers, Higher level Autism, Manic Depression, or some form of physical disability, etc.

A Little Bit About Me...
