After graduating in 1996, I opened my own tutoring service in Dickson, TN. I tutored individuals from public schools and home school in Math, Reading, and several other subjects needed until 2001. At this time I left Dickson and moved to Clarksville, TN and tutored with A+ Math tutoring intil 2006.
Seeing the look and smile on the face of a student that finally grasps a concept, or realizes they have just read on their own for the first time, OH What a Feeling!!! I take each child as their own individual knowing they have their own needs in learning a subject. I teach in several different ways as to ensure the child grasps what they need. I see children today as my future for tomorrow, so helping them and making a difference in their lives will make a difference in mine. I have not forgotten any individual I have helped to this day.

I maintain a positive attitude, full of encouragement, in order to provide the best education possible. I believe that if teachers are able to have positive attitudes and project a general attitude of success and achievement, students are more likely to believe that they can achieve. Before we can teach a student anything, we must first instill in them the belief that they are capable of succeeding.
