My current occupation is working as a paralegal. However, I am looking for opportunities to transition into the field of education. I have a very unique way of teaching. My key to success works on a system of discipline and rewards. I find creative ways to make the most mundane tasks fun to accomplish. I think the number on rule in teaching strategy should be finding a way to make the process enjoyable. I believe most kids that do poorly in school have an incredibly hard time putting their hearts into tutoring. As a non-traditional student I was more mature when I returned to finish my degree than when I had originally gone to school. As a result I graduated Suma Cum Laude and was awarded the Competitive Graduate Award from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville to begin my graduate education.
