My comments on tutoring American History : From the founding of the Colonies at Jamestown through current history-making events, students of American History will explore where the nation began, and how it has grown into what is is today.

Hands on, project based. Whether with a group or one-on-one, I consider learning to be best experienced when all five senses are utilized to their maximum potential. Students of all ages will learn through creative game play, creative projects, and creative writing.
Throughout undergraduate and now graduate work, I have always had a passion for passing along what I know, in hopes of teaching and inspiring, and developing others. I have two years of private-school teaching behind me, as well as two summers working with inner-city kids in a program that used the arts to bridge the gap between social and educational shortfalls within the city. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 wiht a degree in Psychology. While attending USM I taught a combined class Of 3rd And 4th grades. for the past 16 years I have tutor Reading, Math, History, and basic science to children in my family and community. I also substitute teach for 3 school districts.
I believe a child can learn any subject put before him/her. With the belief that a child can learn, it is my challenge to find out what style of learning best fits each child being tutored.
