My comments on tutoring American History : From the founding of the Colonies at Jamestown through current history-making events, students of American History will explore where the nation began, and how it has grown into what is is today.

Throughout undergraduate and now graduate work, I have always had a passion for passing along what I know, in hopes of teaching and inspiring, and developing others. I have two years of private-school teaching behind me, as well as two summers working with inner-city kids in a program that used the arts to bridge the gap between social and educational shortfalls within the city. I am well read and well versed in classical and current literature, with published articles and short stories to my credit. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 wiht a degree in Psychology. While attending USM I taught a combined class Of 3rd And 4th grades. for the past 16 years I have tutor Reading, Math, History, and basic science to children in my family and community. I also substitute teach for 3 school districts.
I believe a child can learn any subject put before him/her. With the belief that a child can learn, it is my challenge to find out what style of learning best fits each child being tutored. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a certified teacher k-12 in visual arts and have been teaching for the last ten years. I have an AA -Aeronautics, BA-Graphic Design, M.Ed.Art and MDiv degree. I have been tasked with improving the reading and writing skills of my students 9th through 12th grade. The majority of children are left brain thinkers and need to be challenged to utilize the right brain to evaluate, analyze, interpret, and understand the meaning of concepts and ideas. Higher level depth of knowledge thinking must employ the elements of the right brain: imagination, creativity, intuition, faith, and innovation, which are all necessary elements in problem solving.
