A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style involves fun and an active student. Self-discovery is the best way to learn and retain knowledge. I see myself as the facilitator; I give my students the tools, so they can figure out problems on their own and become more self-reliant. I want learning to be fun, involving games, healthy competition and active learning, so students become life long learners. Having said that, I have high expectations for students' abilities and behavior. I have always been able to build rapport and a mutual respect with students of all ages and backgrounds. That trust makes the learning environment more impactful.

A Little Bit About Me...

It has been my experience that students are more successful if they can apply and practice any theory to which they may be exposed. Given this notion, I try to provide real world applications to whatever concept I introduce, whether teaching in a classroom setting or tutoring one on one. If this approach is not appropriate, I will break down the concept into the simplest possible learning steps. I will use whatever approach that best blends the complex mix of individual learning style and subject matter to achieve a successful learning experience for my student.
