My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : I hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from the University of Toledo. My major required me to take over 20 hours of chemistry electives, half of which were organic chemistry courses. I am well-versed in reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry and isomers, properties of the various functional groups, and molecular nomenclature.

Since graduating from The University of Toledo in 2011, I have worked at a local pharmaceutical company as a chemist. I have been tutoring high school and college students in the Cleveland area for more than four years. My teaching style is simply and varies from student to student. I am a visual learner, once I see an example done; I try to use what I’ve learned to solve a similar problem. Some people don't learn that way, I try to pick up on the student’s best learning style (whether it’s by doing example problems, talking them out, or guiding them through their own examples) I can focus my help to try to suit them. I earned a 98% in my College Algebra course this past fall so I am here to lend a hand to those who could use it. My focus in college was Communication with a minor in Philosophy. I enjoy tutoring children and adults because it makes me feel like I'm able to give a piece of what I know to someone that has trouble understanding that particular concept.
