I have been teaching environmental science for 18 years. I have a passion for this subject and keep current on new findings and research. I have a Master's Degree in Applied (Environmental) Microbiology and have been an adjunct faculty member at a local community college for 18 years in the physical science department. I began teaching as an undergraduate. I am also a research scientist and have been working in the environmental field for two decades. My teaching style is very practical. I have been working with students in a reading program at a Title I school for 2 years; working with second language students teaching them the English language. I have taught Math and Science for 4th and 5 grade using the Foss system. The Science program was a hands on experiments, writing and keeping a science notebook. Evaluations were given at the end of each lesson segment involving the Foss Systems. Taught 3rd grade all subject for 5 years teaching all subjects.
