Experience Summary
I have a Master's Degree in Applied (Environmental) Microbiology and have been an adjunct faculty member at a local community college for 18 years in the physical science department. I began teaching as an undergraduate. I am also a research scientist and have been working in the environmental field for two decades.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very practical. What do we need to do to get the job done and how can we relate this to real world examples. I believe everyone is capable and learns in different ways. The key to success is finding what clicks with each student.
My Hobbies
In my spare time, I like to write, take photographs and hike. Also, my family time is very important to me.
