It depends on the specifics of what your student is studying. I've completed high school and been accepted into college, so I obviously have what's needed for the lower levels of education, such as elementary students, and I maintained a GPA of 3.5 throughout my high school career, so there is a good change I'll at least be able to get the resources needed for your student to excel in the subject of study they struggle in. Just telling a child how to do a problem is not effective. I believe a teacher needs to explain the logic and reasoning behind solving certain problems certain ways.
