I truly enjoy teaching others, as I have worked as a mentor in engineering camps and in the freshman dormitories at Arizona State University, as well as worked as a residenial assistant in the freshman dormitories. I have had the opportunity to work in the role of tutor for the past five years. I have worked in a correctional setting helping individuals prepare for the GED tests in math, writing, reading, science, and social studies. I have also had the opportunity to tutor younger students in a private setting in the subjects of reading, math, and science. I have earned my bachelor of science in sociology from Boise State University and have been involved in education in one aspect or another for the past nine years.
