Love teaching art to children

The arts teach children to make judgments about their environment without a right or wrong answer, and that there are many ways to look and solve a problems. Art is a way for children to express themselves without words in the literal form or numbers as only measured on standardized tests. Meaning the limit of our language does not limit a child’s cognition. I believe the arts teach children to observe and solve problems from many perspectives. Art enables us to have experiences that no other source does. It should be relaxing, hands on, enjoyable, and also a learning experience. I would allow the student to help decide what he or she is interested in working on and learning about in the arts and take our journey from there.

My comments on tutoring Painting : I took various painting courses in College. I know color theory and various painting techniques, oil and acrylic.

I spent 4 years at Bowling Green State University earning my BFA in Graphic Design and my Associates in Marketing. From there I have been working to build my own online business for about two years. Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. As a recent college graduate, I feel that I have received the formal training necessary to become a teacher. I have obtained a BS in Early Childhood Education.
