My comments on tutoring Painting : I took various painting courses in College. I know color theory and various painting techniques, oil and acrylic.

I am very good at putting myself in other peoples shoes which makes my teaching style moldable. That is there is no one way to teach a student, you have to find out what speaks to them and teach them the way that they learn.
I spent 4 years at Bowling Green State University earning my BFA in Graphic Design and my Associates in Marketing. From there I have been working to build my own online business for about two years. Each year I see a growth in customers and I expand my product line with new hand crafted goods. I have worked for companies such as Dayton Business Journal, and iHeart Media. Love teaching art to children

The arts teach children to make judgments about their environment without a right or wrong answer, and that there are many ways to look and solve a problems. Art is a way for children to express themselves without words in the literal form or numbers as only measured on standardized tests. Meaning the limit of our language does not limit a child’s cognition. I believe the arts teach children to observe and solve problems from many perspectives. Art enables us to have experiences that no other source does. It should be relaxing, hands on, enjoyable, and also a learning experience. When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school. I finally had decided that teaching was not for me because I wanted more of an office setting job so i decided to major in business management. I have decided that I want to pursue in subsitute teaching so that I am able to help children and spend more time with my newborn.
Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! Often time in the classroom, a teacher does not have the time to give the support of the needs of each student in the classroom. When tutoring, I feel it is best to sit back and review the student's work and watch him/her in action. Once I have established where he/she needs work, I show the student a different way of looking at the problem(s). I use their motivations to demonstrate the value of learning the subject in which he/she struggles. I show the student different perspectives, diagrams, and use additional resources such as quiz games. I let the student know that he/she is not alone in his/her struggle.
