My comments on tutoring Painting : I took various painting courses in College. I know color theory and various painting techniques, oil and acrylic.

I am very good at putting myself in other peoples shoes which makes my teaching style moldable. That is there is no one way to teach a student, you have to find out what speaks to them and teach them the way that they learn.
I spent 4 years at Bowling Green State University earning my BFA in Graphic Design and my Associates in Marketing. From there I have been working to build my own online business for about two years. Each year I see a growth in customers and I expand my product line with new hand crafted goods. I have worked for companies such as Dayton Business Journal, and iHeart Media. Often time in the classroom, a teacher does not have the time to give the support of the needs of each student in the classroom. Teachers and tutors should try their best to make sure they focus on individual needs of the students so that they can help them succeed.
As a recent college graduate, I feel that I have received the formal training necessary to become a teacher. I have obtained a BS in Early Childhood Education. A Little Bit About Me...

When tutoring, I feel it is best to sit back and review the student's work and watch him/her in action. Once I have established where he/she needs work, I show the student a different way of looking at the problem(s). I use their motivations to demonstrate the value of learning the subject in which he/she struggles. I show the student different perspectives, diagrams, and use additional resources such as quiz games. I let the student know that he/she is not alone in his/her struggle. I become more of a peer as I let them know that I too have had tutors and was even placed in a special needs class as a child. As the bond grows, it becomes easier for the student to relax, absorb the information, and put it into practice.

Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. It always made me feel good knowing i was the only one who could help her study!
When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school.
