Literature is one of my top subjects!

I'm a firm believer in positive reinforcement. I have dealt with my fair share of teachers who use shame as a motivator, but that only stalls students. Teaching students WHY helps them understand HOW, and it works every time. I'm confident in this method's results.
This is my first time tutoring professionally. However, it is not the first time I help others to learn. The foundation of my leadership experience was built in the forrest. For six summers I worked as an outdoor educator and adventure guide, leading groups of students through week long trips into the natural world. I believe in experience as the greatest teacher. During high school I attended a special program, Health and Medical Occupations Academy, developed for students who wanted a career in the medial field. My high school classes were oriented towards the medical profession. In addition I was required to take anatomy/ physiology, biology, and several nursing classes. I am currently a 2 year medical student. Before entering medical school I worked voluntarily for an orphanage in Mexico.
