I am a firm believer in learning the basics in foreign language. You must first build a foundation on which to place additional building blocks of knowledge. I use a commercial grammar text and workbook, which I select according to the needs and age of the specific student. We work through grammar and exercises with cultural lessons included. I include practice in conversation and composition as well. We work on any class-related material and address specific concerns of the student. Although I believe one-on-one teaching to be the most beneficial to the student, I enjoy teaching small groups.

The thinking and learning processes were always intriguing to me. I am very inquisitive and cannot stop until I understand how things tick. However, patience and comprehension are certainly big parts of me as a person. This is why tutoring is a very fulfilling experience.
