Please help me save for Italy by doing something I love!

I am currently an elementary education major at Wingate University. I have had 3 years of experience working with and teaching children because of field experience required by my major and teacher cadet in high school. I have also had experience tutoring family members. I have a BS in Electronics Technology which required me to take Cal I,II,II, Applied Statics and Technical Math. I have taught in the public schools of Charlotte for 32 years. After retiring from the public system, I have taught the past 7 years in private Christian education. I am now retired. My experience has been with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in all subject areas. My degrees are in Elementary Education and Administration. I enjoy working with students on a one-on-one basis.
My teaching style is fairly laid back. I believe that students learn in a more effective manner when they are not under a lot of stress. I have been very successful in this method. I worked at Elohim Center tutoring the kids at an after school homework center in Hartsville, SC. I also worked at Hartsville School of Performing Arts for a short time period. However I provided assistance to the teachers and mentored the children that had potential, but didn't have the extra push in life to motivate them to be more. A Little Bit About Me...

I have six children of my own and know that every child learns differently, even when they come from the same family. I believe the majority of children can master the material they are presented in school, but it is a matter of time. Many children take a little more time to understand the concepts and master the skills needed to move on to the next level. Sadly many of these children aren't given the time to do it and are just passed on to the next level.
