The child chooses the style. What I mean by this is that every child is different and every one of them learn differently. Teaching on a more personal level is how to aid the best results.
My experience started in my high school years helping my brother and sisters with homework while our mom was working. Presently I am employed at a day care center/ school, were everyday is spent engaged with the kids and their educational needs. My previous experience teaching at a Charter School in Texas and teaching at a public school district in Texas. Also, I have taught in the Jackson Public School District in Jackson, MS. My experience has been working with at-risk students and working with student one-on-one. In addition, I have worked with students that needed to be prep for tutorial. My classroom experience has given me the opportunity to work with all level of students and their learning style.
I think it's important to give all children the opportunity to advance and success that education can make a difference in their lives. I believe that using different teaching techniques will allow students to be successful in their learning. During my four years at Millsaps, I gained much more than my degree. I learned how to take vast amounts of information and structure it in a way that allowed me to memorize and retain it.
