My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : Finding synonyms, antonyms, definitions and creating sentences for vocabulary are necessary to improve vocabulary in reading comprehension, public speaking, and writing.

Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. I have had experience in teaching an after school program with students who needed assistance in learning. In addition, I have taught American Sign Language classes to parents. From my experience, I have realized that students learn faster and retain the information they learned longer if a tactile, hands-on approach is used. Currently, I teach K-5 students, and no matter what I'm teaching, I try to turn it into an educational game where the students are up and moving and having fun while learning. Each one exceeded my expectations and learned far more than anyone could have imagined. I truly believe in finding the style of learning that suits each student, and pursuing that particular route. My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : Taught elementary school, mostly grades 3-6 most of my life in a self contained classroom teaching all subject areas. Excellent teacher with Superior ratings. Vocabulary is best taught in context: learn meaning of word, some of its synonyms, and use in sentences and paragraphs related to real life.

Taught Grades 3-6 over a 35 year career successfuly with great feedback from students, parents, and administration. Love teaching all subject areas at the elementary school level.
