My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : I have taught elementary students for 8 years which includes work with vocabulary skills with students. I also have my Master's in Reading, which included learning the best ways to teach vocabulary.

Teaching has always been my passion. From babysitting to leading summer camps, I have always enjoyed helping children learn. My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : Finding synonyms, antonyms, definitions and creating sentences for vocabulary are necessary to improve vocabulary in reading comprehension, public speaking, and writing.

Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.

From my experience, I have realized that students learn faster and retain the information they learned longer if a tactile, hands-on approach is used. Currently, I teach K-5 students, and no matter what I'm teaching, I try to turn it into an educational game where the students are up and moving and having fun while learning. Each one exceeded my expectations and learned far more than anyone could have imagined. I truly believe in finding the style of learning that suits each student, and pursuing that particular route. Excellent teacher with Superior ratings. Vocabulary is best taught in context: learn meaning of word, some of its synonyms, and use in sentences and paragraphs related to real life.
