My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : Having the Common Core State Standards, we have specific areas at each grade level. Having said that, students will need to learn the Next Generation Science Standards as it is being implemented.

I teach with a hands-on style. I incorporate various strategies based on the student's needs such as kinesthetic, visual, auditory, and a combination if needed. I observe and I assess student's strengths and weaknesses. Based on the information and results, I determine the correct strategy to use to help a student.
Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. I am currently writing my thesis in order to finish my Master’s degree in applied physics. My research is on experiment fluid dynamics where I am studying the affects of viscosity on glycerin. I have incredible math and science skills that I would love to teach others. I worked at a community college were I learned different methods of teaching or tutoring others.
I believe that by letting the student try to answer the problem by them self is the best way of learning. I will try to guide them down the right path, but even a wrong answer can teach you a lesson.
