I enjoy watching students grasp the scientific method as it is something that comes naturally to most people if put in the right context. Science is rewarding to teach because it incorporates other disciplines like math. I often receive comments about my effective teaching style. As i believe in learning form the depth of the knowledge, i don't stress on memorizing the existing things, rather i emphasize student on understanding those topics. If some thing is difficult, that actually occurs because the student have not got the full idea of that matter. Once the crux is understood, the problem no more exists. Throughout college I had extensive experience working with classmates while we solved math equations and physics problems together. I did volunteer work teaching English to children in Mexico as well as teaching English to college age students in Mexico.
I like to first get an idea of what the student knows about the problem.. I find that the more time I spend listening to what they know it naturally turns into what pieces I need to add-in. Unless they came to the session to learn new material that would be a different scenario entirely in which it would depend on the student how I taught. I would have to find out what type of a learner they are. Whether it be a visual learner, if they need examples or are an entirely conceptual type of learner.

I starting my first year of teaching Terreton Junior high and elementary. I was a special ed teacher there I taught kids from k-8 and I taught a special algebra class for 7th graders. I really enjoyed working with algebra it not only helped them to understand it, it helped me understand it also. The next year a taught autistic children in Ammon elementary school. I have a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering but because of my love of math, I took several advanced math courses in college and almost graduated with a minor in math. Last year, I tutored students at Sandcreek Middle school on weekly basis and one student privately at Hillview Elementary (1st grader).
