I then moved on to being a one on one with high school students with special needs in the Baltimore area. I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities.
