A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching and tutoring have been my life's work. Though the majority of my experience is at the college level, I love working with students of all ages. All children have the ability to learn; some need more help than others finding that one pedagogical method that really makes everything "click" for them. I am patient, am able to infuse an element of fun into my tutorials and classes, considerate, and dedicated to my students' success. Teachers and tutors have always had a postive impact in my life, and I look to share that same experience with my students. I believe in being enthusiastic in the subjects I teach and tutor; that enthusiasm is the key to getting students invested into whatever subject I am teaching.

For the past several years I have owned a run my own Grant Writing Company. I specialized in the teaching and the mentoring of my clients in the Grant application process. I worked hand-in hand with them in preparing the detailed paperwork. I aided them in so as they were able to shape their business proposal so that it would fit the necessary criteria to recieve various grants. I am an accomplished writer, public speaker and independent business owner.
I first must one hundred percent become knowledgeable and comfortable with the material I will be teaching. I enjoy being able to personalize myself not only with the work but the students as well. I am entirely patient and open to questions and problems and suggestions that need be. I have an open door policy. No question is to small and no problem to big. I am willing to work with complicated schedules.
