Every child is different, and each has his/her own unique style of learning. I recently graduated from Brigham Young University in April 2011. I love math but feel that communicating through writing is very important. Building a good relationship with a child is key to helping them learn. When good relationships are developed children can then trust the teacher or tutor to help them in whatever way possible. This is a time where the students is relaxed and open to learning new ideas. There is not pressure to learn, but an excitement to succeed. All students can learn, given the proper instruction.
