In graduate school, my teaching work included leading discussion and lab sections in organic and general chemistry. Duties included preparing and delivering presentations, review of class concepts and homework problems, and office hour help sessions to ensure student understanding and success passing tests. More recently, I developed and delivered customized curriculum centered on drug discovery and genomics topics targeted to biotechnology professionals. As a pre-med student I strove for excelllence in my undergraduate education at Azusa Pacific University. My course work was broadly based in chemistry and biology. Directly after graduating I was hired by Faith Bible High School to teach Anatomy and Physiology for the 2008-2009 school year. In the 2009-2010 school year I have taught psychology as a science elective. For the 2010-2011 school year I will be teaching two sections of Anatomy and Physiology.
