As a graduate student in Evolutionary Biology at Texas A&M University, I worked as a teaching assistant in undergraduate ecology and zoology labs. I found this experience to be very rewarding and went on to pursue a MA in Instruction. Since completing both graduate degrees in 2008, I have been teaching undergraduate biology at Winona State University. I enjoy a variety of teaching settings. As an aerospace engineering student at Embry-Riddle, mathematics comes quite easily to me. I enjoy solving and creating mathematical problems. At Embry-Riddle I quickly became known as the "go to" guy for all math related questions. Within the first two weeks of the first semester I was leading a Calculus 2 study group and retained my position as such until the end of the semester.
