Through my studies in Environmental issues and Landscape design, I have taken many writing-intensive classes, science courses and geography courses. As a senior in college I worked as an America Reads volunteer in an inner city school system, assisting elementary school students improve their reading skills. My passion is the arts. My experience suggests that students must participate to fully benefit from the teaching and learning experience. This implies that they must be interested in the subject.
