Through my studies in Environmental issues and Landscape design, I have taken many writing-intensive classes, science courses and geography courses. As a graduate student, I spent significant time writing and focusing on grammatical topics of technical writing. Also, I have several years of experience working with young students as an educator. I recently graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Civil Engineering in December 2009, which has given me a very strong mathematical background. I have completed courses through Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I have worked with children at the local boys and girls club, which included children in grades 4-10. Working with younger children and teens has always been fun for myself. I think it's good to get to know the student on somewhat of a personal level.
