Making Learning Fun and Easy!

My teaching style is to move at the students pace - however slowly or quickly that may be. I don't mind being asked the same questions. In fact, I believe that there is no such thing as a bad question, and that a student should ask a question as many times as s/he feels it is necessary to do so.
I have a bachelors degree in Economics with a concentration in mathematics. I have been tutoring all of my life. I've tutored children, college students, and adults. I was am American History tutor through the Academic Achievement Center at Bridgewater State College for my college career. I have also interned at the middle school level in high school to teach young children the wonders of history. I helped to tutor college students struggle to make the grade at the introductory history level. My comments on tutoring Geography : I enjoy helping students understand geography through comparing and contrasting to better understand our place in the world.

I have over 15 years experience working in the research and information fields. Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
