A Little Bit About Me...

In addition to my undergraduate degree, I have many graduate credits in education including elementary math,science and reading. I have taught full time in an elementary classroom for 14 years and substitute taught for almost as many. My experiences include tutoring at the elementary and high school level.
I am of the opintion that all students can learn. If my method of teaching is not working, I will pursue all methods available by communicating with my peers for ideas. While a student I acted as a teacher's assistant teaching Argumentation and Debate for one semester, and tutored Basic Statistics for one semester. As an accounting professional I trained new employees in Accounting, both in classroom and individual environments. While this experience was on an "as needed" basis, since I have worked as a Controller for over twenty-five years I believe I have at least three years of accumulated experience teaching accounting.
