I was recently accepted into a Graduate Program and will soon start the long road to my Masters and PhD in History to some day be a History Professor. I have a BA in Integrated Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Creative Advertising and my second major was History. I model my teaching after the same style I enjoyed as a student. Helping a student discover for themselves the material not only educates them but fosters a passion for the subject at hand. Rote memory has it's place and is essential, but when a student becomes passionate about a subject, then the door is open for them to excel at it.
