I have been a private math tutor since 2008. I have been a tutor for WinShape Homes since 2008 as well. I taught math at a Unity Christain School from 2097-2008. I taught pre-algebra, algebra, algebra II, geometry, and Precalculus. I taught remedial math for 2 semesters at Shorter University, and I taught in the adult education program teaching GED math at GA Northwestern Technical College.

My comments on tutoring Algebra II : I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and 5th Grade. I am certified K-6th grade. I also taught advanced math in a GED/HiSet program. I currently teach ESOL/CIVICS for an Adult School.

My teaching philosophy starts out with essentialism which believes in a strong core curriculum and high academic standards. I have a BS in Physics for the City College of the City of New York, with a strong minor in mathematics. I have been in programming for over thirty years. I had not used my mathematical knowledge in many years, but when my grand daughter was having problems in Algebra I helped her. I helped with Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and trigonometry.
