A Little Bit About Me...

I am an honors high school student and I have never made anything below a B in any class. My specialties are math and English, being that I receive the highest grade in the two subjects. I also love working with children to help them better understand anything I can possibly teach. I am also a very strong person, in leadership I mean. The second time through, we approach the problem with a little more weight placed on the student. My comments on tutoring Algebra II : I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and 5th Grade. I am certified K-6th grade. I also taught advanced math in a GED/HiSet program. I currently teach ESOL/CIVICS for an Adult School.

NYU business school looking to tutor.

I have tutored informally throughout high school and college, both my fellow peers and lower income students. I was part of an ESL mentoring high school program during my time in New York. During my time at college, I created a mentoring committee for underclassman that focused on business related items and school curriculum. As I spent most of my time in groups studying, I learned that I was very good at explaining principles and material, regardless of subject matter.

As a Covenant College graduate, I was eager to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I was able to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Community Development. Due to the different core classes required for the major, I was able to take different Economics classes, History classes, and Social science classes.
