In College I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters for a number of months. My mother is a pre-k special ed teacher, I volunteer in class usually once a week to help with the occupational therapy motor lab. My triple major in anthropology, history, and religion required many papers to be written, so I have a strong sense of how to use the English language in writing. A Little Bit About Me...

I never give up on a child or an adult. I recently tutored a law enforcement official to help him understand and pass algebra. He didn't think anyone could help him. The schools told me my son would never learn to read or write. He is my only child out of four who reads lengthy books for pleasure. Everyone has a different style of learning. My teaching methods I alter to suit those needs. I spent three years trying to help my dyslexic son learn to read one sentence. I have patience and I love helping people. I am also a volunteer crisis counselor for the local police department.
