A Little Bit About Me...

As a Bradley University graduate, I graduated cum laude with a degree in chemistry from one of the best chemistry departments in the midwest. I tutored basic inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry I, II, and advanced organic throughout the course of my junior and senior years. I then went on to attend Union University to receive my Doctor of Pharmacy which is where I currently am. I have taken more chemistry along with advanced medical physiology. I tutored fellow students my first year of pharmacy school in medicinal chemistry, gross anatomy, and in advanced physiology I and II.
I am a visual learner and I have found that most other people are too. This means that it is important to understand concepts behind each topic were learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BA in History/English from the University of Mississippi. I have been a teacher for the past year in Tate County Mississippi. This experience has allowed me to develop a teaching style to reach all types of learners. I have also been a tutor in English on a senior level. I have training with children of all learning styles. One of my students was also ADD/ADHD. I have achieved and maintained a 3.0 in all English and History courses at the college level. I am able to devise a teaching strategy based on the individual's needs. I am adept at taking abstract ideas and placing them into a real world setting. I am patient and understanding. I have a BS in biology, however I have a passion for teaching. In 2006, I was a Teach Tennessee fellow. This program's intent is to fast track degreed professionals into an education career. I spent some time teaching in the public school system. I had to resign my postion, due to family a family situation. I continued my work as a substitute teacher. I love working with students and appreciate the moment when they finally understand a concept with which they have struggled.
