Chemistry is one of my top subjects!

Tutoring especially appeals to me because breakthrough moments don’t always occur while class is in session. I have overall 10 years of teaching experience. I came to United States to do my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. As a graduate student, I worked as a TA for the Department of Chemistry. I was a senior scientist - engineer for 37 years. I retired to care for my comatose wife at home, and she died a few months later. This situation has left me open to new directions. What strikes me most as I look back at my education is how much of an impact a teacher can have when they make their subject relevant to their students.
