My teaching style is very interactive. I believe in reading out-loud and having discussions about what things mean and how they may relate to other aspects of Biology. I have been editing my peer's work since my freshman year of high-school in 2004. My studies have included the mechanics of writing, the structure of grammar stemming from a Latin background and Literature ranging from the earliest forms of writing ( the Epic of Gilgamesh) to the post-modernists (Crying of Lot 49) with a special emphasis in both Shakespeare and Milton. I find that each teaching style has to be tailored to the student's learning style which can range from a heavily structured plan involving memorization and repetition to a more relaxed approach involving a more fun approach. The one thing that remains the same no matter what teaching style is being employed is that clear and reachable goals must be set for the time given.
