I have overall 10 years of teaching experience. I came to United States to do my Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. As a graduate student, I worked as a TA for the Department of Chemistry. I emphasize an awareness of electron density – where the electrons are in a molecule – and how electron rich areas want to bind to electron poor areas. The goal is to give the students an understanding of the physical reasons reactions occur, and how a series of reactions can be used to accomplish a synthesis.
