I am primarily a music teacher, but have also taught World Religions, Public Speaking and SAT Prep, Vebal and Vocabulary. I have B.A. And M.A. Degrees. I graduated with a BA degree in Music Education, and have eight years of experience teaching in public schools. While attending Claflin University in the pursuit of obtaining duel BA's in the field of journalism and sociology, my off times was spent in the middle schools of Orangeburg, SC for nearly six years. I spent 4-5 hours in the classroom (daily) as an assistant and tutor/mentor in language arts classes grades 6-8. My majoring in sociology allows me to use human behavioral knowledge to reach kids effectively in order to sustain their focus which allows them to embrace the concept of learning. I have extensive grammatical skills due to I have worked as a journalist for a daily newspaper and written several research papers that has been published in respected journals.
