Experience Summary
I am adamant to maintain a high level of excellence in education. I have earned a B.A. degree in history and an M.A. in secondary education with a concentration in social studies. This experience gives me a broad range of knowledge in a number of subjects. My college preparation has provided me with extensive skills in reading and writing so I can pass that knowledge on to my students.
Teaching Style
I prefer to use a hands on approach to education. I like to have the kids get engrossed in the subject matter by reading aloud and taking part in discussion sessions. It is my belief that all children have the capacity to succeed in school with the proper tools. The tools that I provide are first and foremost, respecting the students without any bias. Secondly, I have worked with and have the capability of working with children of all ages. This allows me to relate to and effectively educate all students. A competent teacher makes a lasting impact in a child’s life which is why my favorite quote is as follows.
