Experience Summary
All through school I have had a passion for learning. This passion continued into college where I earned two degrees from Columbia College. While earning two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Dance and Religion, I have gained knowledge in critical thinking through applying learning to life, English and grammar through writing papers and reports, and many daily skills acquired through general education courses. Since I began tutoring my senior year of high school I have tutored students in special education, daily skills subjects, elementary math, high school math, and dance as well as teaching English, math, and Bible to students in Kenya, Africa.
Teaching Style
I love working with children and have a passion for making the future greater by helping our children be more successful. With a background in dance I have a very creative teaching style with a knack for discovering new ways to learn. I am a very patient person, which allows me to work well with any temperament. I believe children can focus better on learning if their teacher or tutor focuses better on how they learn. Anyone can be successful in their education with the proper direction.
