I have had 4 years of experience tutoring students 16 and under in mainly math, business, and general studies. I am currently a Financial Specialist looking to pick up an after school tutoring position to help strengthen a student's understanding in their studies. To successfully teach,a tutor must first assess the individuals intellect,tastes and expectations.I am convinced that if a student can count and know the alphabet from A -G,they too can learn to play an instrument.Physical and mental obstacles are only a minor hurdle in learning to play. I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. I have been working in the Accounting field for 9 years and plan to sit for the CPA exam in the future. In the accounting field many talents are needed: problem solving skills, patience, attention to detail, explanations of technical ideas and terms as well as the ability to meet deadlines.
