Psychology is one of my top subjects!

I have no formal experience. I am employed by a church to provide child care during the service. The experience I have is with my own children and my extensive tour of the community college system. I passed each of the subjects that I have chosen at college level. It is my goal to continue to Master's level and teach college. I am attempting to gain experience in teaching.
I believe in guiding the student to find the answer foir themselves through the use of props or examples. I also would try to impart the skills that have made me successful in my educational career.

I went to UC Merced with the goal of pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, in order to prepare me for admission to a PharmD program. From my studies at UC Merced, I earned a 3.78 GPA, and gained admission to multiple PharmD programs in California. While my formal tutoring experience is limited, I have had various experience tutoring friends and leading study groups in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and English.
I am a very empathetic teacher who gears my teaching based on the learner's needs. Each learner has a unique style of learning, and it is important for me as a tutor to cater to the learner's strengths. My teaching style is very unique. I start off by just getting to know the student and having them get to know and trust me. I then build on that trust factor while helping the students with their homework. I connect well with students and they trust me. In the end, it seems to be the best way the students I work with learn and finish their work. Learning should be fun and not boring. It should be interactive and not just book work. If a student can experience learning first hand, they're bound to acquire enough knowledge to help them succeed.

I had no intention of teaching when I started my career in Psychology and the Analytical Chemistry industry. I continuously tried to improve my methadology to arrive at the right mix of stimulation and information to make the learning process as interesting as possible. Teaching the Physics of Xrays and chemical analysis does challenge one to keep assessing the learned content and modify as results indicate.
