My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : Basic learning skills are necessary to build a foundation in later learning. Learning to read, write, and speak are pertinent for success in learning.

Over 16 years, I have taught various subjects for students with hearing impairments. I also have experience in teaching students with multiple disabilities as well. I have had experience in teaching an after school program with students who needed assistance in learning. In addition, I have taught American Sign Language classes to parents. I have experience in teaching students, ages 7-21.
I teach with a hands-on style. I incorporate various strategies based on the student's needs such as kinesthetic, visual, auditory, and a combination if needed. My comments on tutoring Basic Learning Skills : Taught elementary school, mostly grades 3-6 most of my life. Excellent teacher with Superior ratings.

Prefer to facilitate learning and provide more hands on activities. Try to connect reading with writing as the two subjects are very much intertwined in the skills they take. Great at teaching across the curriculum to help students in subject areas that require reading of nonfiction
