My teaching style varies based on the age of the student. I like to be a little more animated with my k-6 graders. On the other hand, with my 7-12 graders I focus more so on making a connection with the material--showing them how it relates to them. I find it important to ensure that the student understands one concept before moving on to mastering a second concept. I believe that all students can learn; however, the way in which a student learns may be different. As a soon to be graduate of the Counseling program, I hold education to the highest level.
